Alaska Conservation Foundation

Alaska has awe inspiring expanses of tundra, internationally critical oceans and seas, breathtaking glaciated mountains, extraordinary rivers and lakes, and spectacular stands of old growth temperate rain forests. Alaska Natives maintain their rich cultures in connection with the land.

Many of the world's crown jewels of our collective natural heritage are in Alaska, including Denali National Park, Tongass National Forest, the Bering Sea, and the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Wildlife thrives in Alaska's intact ecosystems; but there are also serious threats to Alaska's environment.

There is simply no place like Alaska. Alaska's specialness deserves to be celebrated and protected. That's why Alaska Conservation Foundation exists.
