National Hemophilia Foundation

Over 50 years ago, Robert and Betty Jane Henry established the National Hemophilia Foundation in order to foster awareness about hemophilia and advertise the need for state-of-the-art research.

Today, more than 50 years later while poised at the end of the decade and the end of the century, the bleeding disorders community is approaching an exciting new place where cures, improved treatments, and deliverance from the complications of hemophilia will no longer be fantasies but realities.

Through the realization of the Henrys' goals—NHF's original mandate—NHF has positioned itself as the recognized leader in promoting bleeding disorders clinical and scientific investigations.
