ISSA and World's Leading Charity in Product Philanthropy Team Up to Promote Donating Cleaning Supplies After the End of Trade Show

Alexandria, Va., November 2, 2001 - Gifts In Kind International, the world's leading charity in product philanthropy, and the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA), the leading international trade association for the cleaning and maintenance industry, partnered for the fourth year in a row at ISSA's annual trade show.

ISSA/INTERCLEAN USA 2001, held in Orlando, Florida, October 16-19, represented the most successful year in the partnership between ISSA and Gifts In Kind International. Since its inception four years ago, the partnership has served to facilitate the direct distribution of products and supplies from ISSA exhibitors to local charities through Gifts In Kind International at the close of trade shows.

Evidencing the success of this year's ISSA/INTERCLEAN USA 2001 Charity Donation Program success is the phenomenal 63 percent increase in the number of participating exhibitors compared to last year. Overall, this year's total donation value was more than $44,000, an increase of 24 percent from last year's total.

This year's product donations beneficiary was the Heart of Florida United Way located in Orlando, who will distribute to nearly a dozen of its affiliated agencies. Rebecca Quinn, Director, Community Development, for the Heart of Florida United Way said, "We were so pleased to receive such a generous donation!" Among the participating exhibitors was the Stahl Soap Corporation, whose President June Stahl said, "We're pleased that ISSA continues to build its alliance with Gifts In Kind International and its affiliates in cities throughout the United States as our shows change venue."

ISSA's Convention Director Leeann Nowling said, "We appreciate the commitment and professionalism of Gifts In Kind International's staff in working with our exhibitors on such a worthy cause."
